About Coin Grading (Condition):
Isn't it amazing that when you look at coins listed at an unnamed auction site, that many,
many, coins are described or graded as BU (Brilliant Uncirculated, or uncirculated, or
extremely fine, or "super-duper", but when you view the photograph of the coin, it has
deep scratches, chips, blemishes, or other obvious defects. We, would not grade those coins
anywhere near where their sellers had. Whether the sellers of those coins are just ignorant
or delusional, they are still trying to sell a coin that is in much poorer condition than actually
described.
We Conservatively Grade or describe the condition of our coins. Many legitimate coin dealers
would probably grade most of our coins at least one step higher.
Compare our prices to any legitimate coin dealer (not some fly-by-night make-believe business
from an auction site). We Are Lower In Price!

Double-Sided Nickel.
Double-Sided Nickel contains 2 "Heads".
One side 1976 and the other side 1988-P.
Double-Sided coins are made by carefully cutting out opposite faces of 2 coins,
then welding or crimping the coin face so that both sides of the
coin will have
either 2 obverse or 2 reverse faces.
If done carefully and correctly, it is almost impossible to see any alterations
to the coin. It has the same size, weight, and feel as
any other similar coin.
These Double-Sided Nickels are as ILLEGAL as hell to manufacture.
Coins are altered and it is illegal to alter US legal-tender coins.
My father aquired this Double-Sided Nickel about 30 years ago,
it is the only one that he had. It is unknown just how legal it is to sell or buy
existing Double-Sided Coins.
Words of advice: I wouldn't use this nickel to decide the start
of a football or basketball game, or in games of chance with
members
of the underworld.
